Granola
Homemade granola is easy to throw together and comes out crunchy, a little sweet, and way better than store-bought. Made with oats, maple syrup, and nuts. It’s good for snacking or on top of yogurt all week.

Ingredients
- Dry ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups oats
- ½ cup pumpkin seeds
- ½ cup coconut flakes
- ½ cup slivered almonds
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbl hemp seeds
- Wet Ingredients:
- 2 tbl avocado oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ⅓ cup real maple syrup
Method
- 1Preheat oven to 325°F
- 2Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (don’t skip this step)
- 3Mix all dry ingredients in a large bowl
- 4Add wet ingredients and mix thoroughly
- 5Spread onto the baking sheet and press into a flat layer
- 6Bake 12 minutes
- 7Remove and stir
- 8Bake another 10–12 minutes
- 9Let cool completely before breaking into clusters or crumbling
- 10Store in an airtight container
Notes
- Don’t skip the parchment paper or it will stick
- Pressing it into a flat layer helps create clusters
- The longer it cools, the crunchier it
- Store in a glass jar or a paper bag, it’ll last for weeks
Swaps
- Optional Additions:
- 2 tbsp collagen powder
- 1 tbsp ground flax
- ¼ chopped mixed nuts
- 1 tbsp chia seed
Use It Again
- Add to yogurt with fruit for an easy breakfast
- Sprinkle over oatmeal for extra crunch
- Grab a handful for a quick snack
- Top it on ice cream
