- 2 tbsp chili crisp
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp fresh ginger, microplaned
- 2 tsp fresh garlic, microplaned
- Optional zest from 1 lime plus a squeeze after cooking
- 1 salmon fillet (about 3 pounds)
Method

- 2Mix the miso, chili crisp, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and optional lime zest into a paste.
- 3Spread the paste evenly over the salmon fillet.
- 4Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until the salmon is cooked through.
- 5Finish with a squeeze of lime if you like.
Notes
- The lime is optional, but it brightens everything up if you have one around.
- If needed, add a little warm water to thin out the miso paste.
Swaps
- This paste also works on chicken thighs or roasted tofu.
Use It Again
- Leftover salmon salad.
- Add to scrambled eggs for a decadent brunch. No additional hot sauce needed!
