Miso Chili Salmon
A fast salmon recipe with a salty, spicy glaze that tastes like more effort than it actually takes.
Serves 6

Ingredients
2 tbsp white miso paste
2 tbsp chili crisp
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp fresh ginger, microplaned
2 tsp fresh garlic, microplaned
Optional zest from 1 lime plus a squeeze after cooking
1 salmon fillet (about 3 pounds)
Method
- 1Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- 2Mix the miso, chili crisp, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and optional lime zest into a paste.
- 3Spread the paste evenly over the salmon fillet.
- 4Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until the salmon is cooked through.
- 5Finish with a squeeze of lime if you like.
Notes
- The lime is optional, but it brightens everything up if you have one around.
- If needed, add a little warm water to thin out the miso paste.

- This paste also works on chicken thighs or roasted tofu.
Use It Again
- Leftover salmon salad.
- Add to scrambled eggs for a decadent brunch. No additional hot sauce needed!
